8) Many eye examiners and optometrists are to wear safety goggles and face masks during their eye evaluation and examination as they are to be up close with their patients. Patents are also required to wear face masks.
9) Those who have any ocular infections or conditions are to be put in a special room for containment reasons for proper evaluation and eye examination.
10) There will be more cleaning of the patient area such as the chairs, counters, and doorknobs. Almost every room still be cleaned and disinfected between patients’ appointments. For the stores, the frames are disinfected a patient touches them.
11) Patients will be required to wash their hands before, during, and after entering the office and its various rooms. This is to prevent further spread of COVID-19 as well as other possible infections.
