In order to update clinics and other eye physicians, researches have begun to describe the advantages as well as the disadvantages of using these biosensors and applying to the general eye treatment and care, which too posses a potential challenge. This challenge is that although there are improvements in the technology, the accuracy has to improve as well in order to be utilized for clinical practice. Alongside this challenge pose a second one with the telemetry systems and how they can be used on a simplified basis to report and record the outcomes of patients and to ensure safety in storing its data records.
When it came to the patients and their diagnosis as well as treatment, those that previously had glaucoma required much more precise IOP measurements and monitoring. This was able to be improved thankfully by allowing the usage of new sensors. These sensors then measured any noninvasive monitoring of potential or actual IOP varients.
